Angel was an advocate of all those in need. She helped newly diagnosed with breast cancer and participated in numerous events in support of various causes. We know that Angel would have wanted to continue to support those in need and there is a huge need to assistance to the displaced youth in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (DFW). As well as those children in leukemia wards suffering the same illness she battled. Angel’s Fight Crew will continue to support the displaced youth in her honor.

More than 1,200 kids live on the Dallas Streets, per the Dallas News. Consider that 1 in 6 kids come from the sex trafficking industry. Texas in 2015, had over 30,000 kids in foster care, 1,180 children were aged out of foster care, often with little support or structure and at high risk for negative outcomes, per the DFPS.

There are facilities around the DFW area that help the displaced youth with some necessities and a roof over their head. Letot Center and Jonathan’s Place are two of these facilities. In all systems, there are gaps. Angel’s Fight Crew is dedicated to Bridging the Gap between what life the children have and the life they deserve.

Currently, Angel’s Fight Crew is supporting 32 invisible kids of Letot Center and 32 children at Jonathon’s place.

Letot Center houses 32 children, 24 girls and 8 boys, at any given time. these children are runaway and displaced youth, many coming from the sex trafficking industry. This is why you won’t see photos of the Letot Children on our website. They are provided residents, in house schooling/activities, and some of life’s necessities. The ages of these children are from 8 to 17.

Jonathan’s Place also houses up to 32 kids at any given time. The emergency shelter houses 8 girls and 8 boys newborn to 17. The girls Theraputic Center houses 8 girls from ages 10 – 17. The Transitional living houses 8 girls from 17 to 23 that has aged out of the foster system and are learning life skills so they can be successful upon departure.

Angel’s Fight Crew supports these 48 Children by providing gift baskets at each holiday and back to school supplies at the beginning of each school year. This provide a bit of joy and security to these children, that otherwise receive nothing special throughout the year and are concerned with obtaining school supplies for each school year.

Angel’s Fight Crew is devoted to making a difference in the community by providing some of life’s extras to the youth in need. We support by providing needed supplies, gift baskets at every holiday and back to school supplies. Angel’s Fight Crew has plans to grow and be able to support more DFW youth who have been displaced through Circumstance or disease.
